A versatile performer and multi-instrumentalist, Rachel works across Musical Theatre, Jazz, Pop, R&B, and Motown. She has performed with numerous local bands and regularly collaborates with artists as a session vocalist, contributing to a range of studio recordings and albums. In addition to her performance work, she writes and arranges vocal music, with a strong foundation in harmony, music theory, and vocal blend.

Her stage credits include Sour Kangaroo (Seussical), Fantine (Les Misérables), and Glinda (The Wizard of Oz), as well as writer and performer of the original work Bittersweet Candy Dream. She is also a Sears Drama Award recipient for Best Actress.

As an educator, Rachel brings nearly 20 years of teaching experience in private and small group settings, including musical theatre, ensemble, and choir programming. She is a Readers’ Choice Teacher of the Year (2021) and is known for creating a supportive, structured, and engaging learning environment.

Rachel’s teaching approach focuses on healthy technique and strong foundational skills. Voice students develop breath support, tone production, range, and stylistic flexibility to sing with consistency and freedom. Piano students develop musical expression, ergonomic technique, and precision. Drawing from both classical and contemporary pedagogy, she supports each student in developing their natural abilities while building strength, control, and expressive musicality. Her lessons combine technical skill with creativity and movement, helping students build confidence, musicianship, and stage presence.
